This class is best suited for crocheters who are comfortable with basic crochet stitches, including chain and double crochet. By the end of class, you'll have the confidence to follow filet crochet patterns and continue exploring this timeless crochet style on your own.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate
Prerequisites: Comfortable with chain stitches and double crochet

Description: come and learn the fundamentals of knitting, including cast on, knit, and purl.  We will teach you the basics you will need to know to make a hat. While the class is free, supplies must be purchased at Knitting Hive. This class is for ages 14 and up.

Prior skills recommended: No prior skills needed. 

Materials needed (supplies need to be purchased at store):

• We will be using a free pattern from Ravelry.com. We will have a pattern printed up for you at the store.
• You can use any bulky weight yarn, 100 yards, U.S. size 10 needles, and U.S. size 10 dpn. Come and ask at Knitting Hive, and we will show exactly what you need.
