Sweater Support Group
Come knit (and commiserate!) in good company at our Sweater Support Group, held on January 25, February 1, February 22, and March 22 from 10–11 AM. This isn’t a formal, step-by-step class—it’s a friendly meetup designed for those who already know how to knit, purl, cast on, cast off, and pick up stitches. While there’s no strict curriculum, we’ll guide you through important sweater-making skills like swatching, tackling a yoke, working short rows, and separating the body and sleeves.
Most importantly, you’ll get to hang out with a group of fellow knitters who understand the highs and lows of sweater knitting. Expect a bit of chatter, some laughs, and the chance to “bitch” together about those stubborn stitches. The cost is $25, and all supplies can be purchased on-site (yarn can be pre-ordered to ensure availability). Come join the fun, sharpen your skills, and turn your sweater dreams into reality!
