Inside the skein is a small plastic tube containing a tiny matching extra skein of 5 grams to use as Beilaufgarn (reinforcement yarn) when knitting toes and heels.

This light fingering weight yarn is spun with wool from Corriedale sheep (sourced in Chilean Patagonia) with a touch of polyamide. The average thickness of the wool is only 25 microns.
