Vibe Fibers - Whale, Hello There

Out of the Blue is a full-size breaching humpback whale sculpture and iconic landmark in Salt Lake City's 9th & 9th neighborhood. Designed to reflect the area's creative spirit,  the sculpture features a rotating mural that is reimagined by a new artist every 3-5 years, allowing it to evolve alongside the community. The inaugurall mural, Point of Reference by Mike Murdock, was inspired by the neighborhood's vibrant sunrises and sunsets.

Inspired by Out of Blue, these 10 semi-tonal colorways capture the creativity, resilience, and vibrant spirit of Salt Lake City's iconic 9th & 9th neighborhood.
